Used lenses are an excellent way to either start your photography journey or as a means to enhance your photography kit. In fact, I’m a proponent for purchasing used lenses that are in excellent condition. Not only do you get a lens for much less that its full price, but lenses outlast digital cameras and hold their value much better than new ones do. A large portion of my photography equipment was bought used and I will discuss here what to look for when purchasing a used lens.
